Track & Field has been a massive part of our lives, shaping who we are and teaching us strength, resilience, and self-belief. But Gia Active was never just about performance. It began with a much deeper purpose: to inspire Giaan, Justine’s younger sister. And that’s where the name Gia comes from.

Track & Field has been a massive part of our lives, shaping who we are and teaching us strength, resilience, and self-belief. But Gia Active was never just about performance. It began with a much deeper purpose: to inspire Giaan, Justine’s younger sister. And that’s where the name Gia comes from.
We launched Gia Active in March 2025, driven by the goal of creating something that would make her proud. Something that embodied strength, courage, and confidence.
In July, we planned our first restock together with Giaan, deciding that a portion of proceeds would be donated to a mental health charity of her choice. But one day before that launch, she took her own life.
Since that moment, Gia Active has taken on an even greater meaning. It’s no longer just a brand, it’s a tribute to Giaan and a reflection of her strength and spirit. Everything we do now is in her honour.
Through Gia, we want to carry her light forward. Inspiring others to keep going, to believe in their worth, and to find confidence within themselves, even in the hardest moments.
Gia Active will always stand for resilience, empowerment, and love. The same qualities that Giaan showed every single day.
